​It is 1 March in Rarotonga, and the doors to paradise are officially open for our 20th Anniversary. Join us as we celebrate two decades of racing, friendship, and the true Cook Islands spirit.

Monday 23rd - OC1/V1 Singles Event & Fun Mix (conditions pending)
Tuesday 24th - Junior Sprints
Wednesday 25th - Raro Round Race
Thursday 26th - Junior Marathon J14/J16
Friday 27th - Round Raro Mix / Closing Ceremony

To Register: You will be required to purchase a paddlers pack per paddler, registering to race at VAKA EIVA 2026.

The Junior Race Program includes - Sprints 250m & 500m plus 1 x Junior marathon. Once you have entered your team you can click on add more to add your race or supporter packs. All participants must purchase a paddler pack which includes a race shirt, race cap & bag, an event program & a wrist band for the opening and closing dinner. Saturday 21st November Marathon J19's IRON - 12 km Open Ocean (Trader Jacks) Tuesday 24th November - Time TBC ALL Juniors - Sprints consists of a 250m straight and a 500m (250m turn) races. Thursday 26th November - Time TBC Marathon J14's - 2km Marathon J16's - 6km Venue for Junior sprints and J16 & J14 marathon will be confirmed at a later date. *Progressions will be dependant on the number of entries.

Should you require a Waka, the waka hire fee for the OC1 or V1 event is an additional $100. A waiver will also be signed declaring you are responsible for any damage should it occur during your use in the event.

All paddlers must also purchase a paddlers pack to be eligible to race in the Iron.
